Cheap Pedal Storage

...for when you aren't using them (but want to keep them at hand hand).

Got these shelves with lips for $6 a piece at Ikea, works great for storing or displaying pedals!

Snazzy setup you have there! If I don't use 'em, I usually sell 'em. I'd rather have the money. They only stay if I have a reason to think I'll ever use 'em.

So I have five on my electric board ('verb, trem, three overdrives), seven on my acoustic board (four EQs, an ABCD switch, a tuner, a preamp), and one on the shelf (an amp simulator).

That's just the overflow (lol). Tavo's stuff is the best, and he's managed to knock every other pedal off my "board," save for the tuner and the Pedal Pawn (dual pedal, TS and BB clones).

I dial them all in on a stock Filter-Tron, and the setup pretty much works as-is for the types of pickups I prefer (FT's, HT's, P-90's, Mini-HB, etc.). Sounds great with Guild pups too!

Honestly, it's OK, but really only bought it to assuage my Bigsby-itis. I have enough problems with coordination as it is and teaching my foot to do bends while I'm playing is probably a bridge too far. Definitely neat, but can't really imagine a use for it.

That Mystery Brain is freaking magic. I always used a Strymon for tape delay but the Mystery brain really does a damn good job.

For sure, the MB is a star. In fact, they all are, and a real shame that he gets pigeon-holed in the roots rock / rockabilly genre. I get great rock, hard rock, alternative / grunge, and even metal tones with these pedals.
