Thanks, yeah it’s really clean! And best of all it has 60 years of drying out giving it a lovely reverb-ish quality of sound!

Anybody hazard a guess (or has knowledge) of what spruce the top is likely to be in ‘62? The wide grain as it goes towards centre seam makes me wonder if they used Adirondack in a lower end model like the CA 100? Whatever, there’s just one small, sorted out crack showing under the pickguard, and it sounds great!

No they are on my ‘63 A500 (I’m seriously lucky!) The tuners on the CA100 are Grover StaTights.

I'm pretty sure that's Sitka Spruce. It doesn't look Adirondacky to me..... did I just make up a new word?? YIKES!!
