...i should probably add that Tyler doesn't know it yet

So that means both of you are in for $5? BTW there are several ladies in my group who are engaged to Jacoby Ellsbury. He's clueless. :biggrin-new:

Triple OT win for the Hawks in game one - both teams with lots of chances to win...

Fifth longest game in Stanley Cup history - what a start!

Talk about evenly matched teams, this should be fun!

i think the key to tonight's game is going to be who puts the puck in the net the most

but i could be wrong

I'm thinkin' the team that keeps the puck out of the net the most, may have the upper hand.

+1 on that one. First period was played almost entirely at the Bruins' end. I put it in the loss column and went to bed. What a pleasant surprise in the AM. Apparently the Hawks depend on their stars and the B's depend on their system. It's going to be tight till the bitter end. Still practicing my happy dance. :biggrin-new:

I think Rask is in the Hawks' heads. Bruins in 6.

Hawk's offense looked lost without Hossa. Bruin's defense in the house area was dominating. Hawk's better bring it next game.

The Hawks have looked flat since they pounded the Bruins in the first period Saturday, but only came away with one goal. Tomorrow is a must win for Chicago.

Ok, so I'm a Rangers fan so I don't have a dog in this fight, but I'm going with the Bruins. I thought the series with the Pens was one of the most brilliantly coached series I have ever seen. They made Crosby show that he really is a punk and kept him in the penalty box quite a bit. The Pens aren't used to losing fights...

That being said, the Hawks are a really great team and I'm looking forward to this going to 7. Ya can't go wrong with original 6!

Yeah, I'm still undecided. Having only antenna tv, I haven't kept up as closely since the Wings lost.

Bit of a veer, but still hockey related, my local AHL team, the Grand Rapids Griffins, just won the Calder Cup last night!!!

What the PUCK? 11 goals last night? What's with that? I think Crawford would have trouble catching a beach ball on that glove side.
I think the constant pressure on the goalies is starting to show.

Good point - it was a weird game compared to the first three. Hawks will have momentum Saturday night, the Bruin will need to take the crowd out of it early if they can.

What a great series, though!

Trying to intimidate the quick youngsters doesn't seem to be working.
I'm starting to think, Hawks in six.:positive:
