I know I could probably measure them myself, but . . .

Does anyone know what size bridge pins best fit a mid-eighties Guild? I don't believe they are the standard "Martin" size, but I could be wrong.

Any help is most appreciated.

Thanks,

Chris

Thanks for the info.

I'm still wondering if anyone here has found a readily available replacement bridge pin that fits Guilds, in particular Gruhn era guilds. I searched the forum before I posted but was unable to find that infomation.

Hi Chris; I bought standard size StewMac bone pins for a '60s F212. They went in without problem. The only other size they offered was 'over-size' ... they supplied the dimensions on the webpage ... I don't know what they are.

All hail Guild but for years they used nothing but plastic pins and intuition doesn't suggest a reason why they would want several different size hole/pin combinations for different models. Although it's possible, I don't see a straight line between bridge pin hole size and performance in any respect.

Good luck with your search. J

I think the pins sizes are all over the map. I bet you can get a set made quicker with Colosi than if you could find a replacement pin and ordered it. His turnaround is very fast. I've ordered several sets of pins and saddles, and he is the snizzle.

Hi Chris: if you don't know how big the hole is, other than custom made from an existing pin (provided it fits correctly), how would you know what to buy? From StewMac ... their standard and over size pins but this is of no use unless you know the dia of the hole. They have pics for unslotted too.
