Wow, the bracing really is completely different, eh Jazzy? Looks like an extra brace on the JF-100's lower bout compared to the Tacoma F-50R. Check out the inside of my Tacoma F-512... This has the third brace on the lower bout. I wonder if Westerly used the same bracing for the 6-string and 12-string JF-100? Oh, and by the way, is the bridge plate maple on the JF-100? My Tacoma F-512 is rosewood, as is your F-50R.

Actually, Jazzy, I wonder when Guild went to the two braces on the F-50R??? If you look at my Westerly F-50R from '71, it has three braces as well...

I'm thinking Westerly used 3 braces on all the jumbos, from what its looking like.

I think Tacoma then decided that the 6 string jumbos only needed 2 braces, whereas the 12-stringers needed all 3. Just an idea.

I'll take a look at the bridge plate for you when I can take another peek in there.

Hopefully I'll have some new CT Guilds here within 1-2 months. I'll take pics of those asap. I'm excited to see what changes have happened over the years.
