Well, I have been jamming on my recently acquired Bluesbird, it looks, plays and sounds amazing. However the tone was a little thin, especially with both pickups on. I did notice the pickups were unusually close to the strings (less than 1/8"), so I lowered them a tad. WOW what an improvement in tone. Now this 'bird has some rich, sweet tones to die for! What a difference a fraction of an inch can make!

It's amazing how different a guitar can sound when you change the height of the pickups. Glad you found the sweet spot!
