Just so it is known, I have spoken with Chaz before posting this...and I have no interest in it other than participating
From the Acoustic Guitar Page:
Toby Walker is coming to southern Vermont on August 24th for a 1pm blues workshop
and 7pm evening performance at the Hooker-Dunham Theater and Gallery in
Brattleboro, Vermont. There are 12 seats available for the 1-1/2 hour
workshop which must be reserved in advance. Reservations taken on first
come, first serve basis.
Ask anyone who has attended one of Toby's guitar workshops and listen to the
impact he's made on them and their guitar playing. You get the story behind
each lick, each progression, each lead run. You'll be blown away by the man
and his music. You can find out more about Toby's Blues Workshops here:
www.littletobywalker.com/guitar-workshops.html and the man himself, here:
www.littletobywalker.com. Don't wait too long to sign up as Toby-sightings
in this neck of the woods are not all that common.
Cost is $35. You can Paypal src@vermontel.net to confirm your place at the
blues workshop. I'm helping out Toby with the arrangements for both the
afternoon workshop and show that evening. I'll connect with you once the
Paypal payment is made to confirm your reservation. Pass any questions along
to me and I'll get back to you promptly.
Brattleboro is around 2 hours drive from most anywhere in the country and
August in southern Vermont is a great time of year to visit. Warm days, cool
nights, plenty of good food, good scenery and good people. Make a day of it.
After the workshop, take in some Vermont fresh air then grab some dinner and
head back to the Hooker-Dunham for a live show with Toby and friends that
same night. Settle in with a good book at a local B&B after the show and
meander on home the next day whenever you feel like it.
Remember, only 12 seats. So don't delay, sign up today.
