Griehund I have to ask....do you breed them or do you adopt ex racers?

I've heard they are extremely friendly dogs, and intelligent.

That they are! I volunteered for a Greyhound rescue in Michigan for a couple years way back, & had 2 retired racers. Great friends!

Agreed. I LOVE Greyhounds, and would adopt one in a minute, but my bride is a self-described "Corgi snob".

I guess I could be like the Stonges and have three dogs. :)

We've been placing retired racing Greyhounds for 20 years. It's like having kids, you just can't walk away from it. I've had dogs all my life but the first grey I adopted was the absolute best pet ever and I was hooked. We wanted big rescue dog and the Greyhounds were perfect. They're basically lazy and tend to sleep all day. While there are lots of different personalities, the common denominators are dependance and affection.

BTW if you're shopping on Amazon and click through our page we get a donation. The same holds true for GoodSearch. Anybody interested in playing fantasy baseball we're trying to get that up and running as a fund raiser. PM me if you're interested. Sit, good boy. :)

I wanted to come home with Buddy after LMG3 Cliff, but Karen wasn't having any of it. He was "supposed" to be a foster, until somebody got seriously interested in him, and that's when she pulled the plug!
