I thought you said "Bassist Loaded" ;]]]

Funken awesome, wow.

This points to a person either with a habit or exceedingly good taste, or both? ;]

That body shape grows on me every time I see it again. I see things didn't see before. The Ash bass is a very good study in that body shape but seems to more pronounced bevels in the cutaways and a lot of wood removed just north of the bridge, for weight saving perhaps, that I don't see on the other ones? Not having a PG radically changes it. The edge of it going right about to the point where the bevel starts to fall off.

Amazingly good picture actually, probably not an accident.

Is that Ebony on the Ash bass fingerboard, maybe the reason why it's so dark?

I wish they would have made a short-scale one! I love the look of the design and the sound of those pickups, but I've just come to terms with the fact that I simply feel at home on a 30-31" scale.
It's not that I can't play a 34" scale, I've owned a bunch, it just feels off to me after falling head over heels in love with my Starfire.
