One of my nephews recently returned from a semester in Scotland, and I went to visit him in his apartment at his college. Asked him how life off campus was treating him, and he complained that the neighbor on one side banged the wall all night and the one on the other side was always yelling. I asked him what he did about it. "nothing, just keep practicing my bagpipes..."
