So they sent me to the hospital today, my heart is back in AFIB and they are going to do another cardioversion. Looks like I'll be here a few days.

Next door neighbor had ablation done twice, the 2nd one took.
My 94 year-old dad's heart has been in persistent AFIB for several years now -
not the best situation but he's as alive and ornery as ever...

Well, this is unfortunate. I hope after conversion they put you on Multaq which is a really good rhythm drug. Works for me so far. Expensive AF. But it seems to work. A-fib is awful. It really is. Get better, D.

And if that doesn't work, then they'll just give you a pacemaker to regulate. My sis in law is pacemaked (that's a word?) and she does pretty well. She's kind of a bitch but that's nothing to do with her heart, I don't think. It'll work out... they'll fix it.
