Moved over here from the "Wild Black Raspberries" thread.

I'm auctioning off 1 pint of fresh canned jam from these berries, proceeds will go to Guitars4Vets. Joe (killdeer43) kindly opened the bidding at $20.00. I'll let the auction go until next week Friday, July 22.

Seeing as we haven't made the jam quite yet (still harvesting berries) if you hurry you can have your choice of regular wild black raspberry, sugar-free, or raspberry-jalapeno jam.

That's ok, Frono, chances are we won't be heating up the kitchen making jam this week - forecast is for mid-90's temps with 70-80% humidity!

More berries will ripen and be picked, however

Necrothread.

The jam was made in the late fall and arrived at La Casa de Fronobulax a couple of weeks ago. Just tried the Wild Black Raspberries with jalapeno and it was amazing. I suggest we all hope dreadnut can do it again.

Thanks, Frono!

I have a secret place where I pick the wild black raspbarries in the dead heat of summer.

Next time I'll try not to wait so long to make the jam!
