I can't believe we have about an inch of snow on the ground, with heavy rain to follow. I have never seen snow this late in the year.

My younger daughter, who just moved back home after two years of living in Georgia (which she hated), is ecstatic to see snow. She's also ecstatic to get great pizza, Italian food and real bagels, none of which she could get there.

14 inches overnight. Power out. Still snowing. So glad I upgraded the generator.

I went out to feed the birds today and there was a large group of Robins trying to get at some worms in the soil beneath the snow. They looked at me, cocked their little heads and I'll bet if they could talk woulda said "this is so messed up". I like it personally. I couldn't even imagine living somewhere without the 4 seasons and the late season snow/weather just adds to the intrigue.

Just rain in central Massachusetts. A LOT of it. That was the upstate NY snowstorm that warmed up before it got here.

That's cool that you got it as far down as NJ, DrumBob. Glad it wasn't a foot like jezdep saw! :)

Predicted high of 72 today, estimating 88 next week. That's getting way too close to the 90's for my preference, but I knew this was Florida when I moved here.

It's kind of interesting how people get attached to their regional pizza.

Though I've never lived in Chicago, that's my favorite (deep-dish) pizza. Having said that, deep-dish is a big meal.

Our New England pizza is not thin like New York pizza, but it's not deep either. I like it, but I actually prefer either New York style or Chicago style.

^ How's THAT for a veer?!?!
Still veering. I like pizza with a big chewy yeast rim, but thin crust under the toppings.

Also, and I brace myself for the fallout, I like pineapple pizza for "something different", extra pineapple and ham but light on the cheese. My favorite is meat lovers. Sausage, ham, pepperoni, more sausage, smother in mozzarella.

I'm hungry.

Thanks. I had read that, but forgot about the food part. I thought per your post that you were having pizza for breakfast, which in my opinion would be a very fine breakfast.

Now I want pizza, but no time to make it today. Maybe tomorrow.

Cold leftover pizza is the hangover breakfast of choice if you are not going to make it out the door to the diner for a grease-bomb hangover-curing breakfast.
