Anyone into Flying V guitars?

Been looking around. Seems the aughts are the most affordable years so far.
How do you like yours?

I played a friend’s and other than having the look, I don’t get it. Not cool to play sitting down, some have neck dive to address. Is there something other than how they look that interests you?

I'd LOVE to own one of the rare Lonnie Mack V's they did, but they're just too much money for me.

You have to put your leg inside the V part. Then they’re fine.

I desperately want a Korina 58 custom shop but they’re so damn pricey.

I used to think the original Korina models were pretty cool, but that was before hair metal made every guitar pointier than the last one.

Now I think I'd just look silly playing even one of the originals.

Is there something other than how they look that interests you?

Been considering a mahogany/rosewood guitar to complement my maple Strat for a long time now. Gibsons are too high priced for me now (NIB). I was pondering S100 for a while now but no colors have been released I like so far. Plus the SG shape is getting a little boring to me as that’s all I’ve played since childhood.
Thought I’d try something different. And glad I did because I just found a nice used V reasonably priced and it is totally pleasantly different in every way to the LP and SG models I had in the olden days.

Praise the Lord it worked out great. Sounds great, plays great, looks great. Not neck heavy at all. Deep clear and bright sound. I added all the chrome!

I’m mainly a bass player but also like to explore on guitar.
