The GAS attack du jour has got me lusting for this New Hartford D40 that is in Groton CT. If I managed to get it, shipping by UPS/Fedex ground would be overnight to my office, which is a big plus. Does anyone here have any experiences with this establishment? Lots of good feedback on the 'Bay.

Ron's is awesome. They/he is/are a long-time Guild dealer and supporter. I purchased my westerly DV4 through them. Ron is an awesome guy and he loves to tell stories of when used to be able to drive over to the Westerly shop and personally pickup up new inventory.

They are super nice, very reputable and I highly recommend them.

-Chris

p.s. I'll also add that Ron and I went back and forth for days via email after the DV4 sale, just talking about Guild stuff for the sheer pleasure of it. The deal was done, but the relationship wasn't.

Well.........I guess THAT answers you're question.   Steffan

I just sent him a message on eBay (per the instructions from an employee when I called) and the process is in motion. I'm just going to buy it, and damn the torpedoes!

Hans, I'll tell Ron you said Hi!

Sandy,
Ron's a darn good guy. He was at Arlington last October and will probably be back this year. We have a picture of him jamming with us in the penthouse on Sunday evening. Somewhere in the LTG III Arlington thread.

Well West, if Ron does John Prine well, that seals the deal! Still waiting to hear back from him.

Two,

Ron is a very personable guy, and I'm sure if the worst happened in your transaction, you could sort it out in Arlington if you still intend to make it. In fact, I need to call right now and book Saturday night for the jam.........and make room reservations.

OOOOOPS!!!!!

It sounds like some of you are mixing up Ron Rothman ( who was in Arlington last year) and Ron the owner of Ron's Guitars from Groton, CT.

Both nice guys though!

Sincerely,

Hans Moust

West,

I definitely plan on making Arlington, and will make arrangements in the next day or so. Dunno about traveling with a guitar though. Hopefully there will be some extras around.

Some of the guys bring one Two. Check with Jeff, he always flies with a guitar or two from Washington State to Arlington.

Thank you sir. BTW, the past couple of years, we haven't taken you to dinner. I'd like to extend a formal invitation to dinner one night while we're there for all those questions you're kind enough to answer. I know Mrs. West would enjoy your company as would I.
