I've never Played that Ovation Model but I have played a Strat that had the same Fishman Power Bridge in it for an Acoustic tone. It wasn't half bad sounding. It just didn't have the Depth or sparkle that most acoustics have but was one of the better sounding "Modeling" pickups that imitate the acoustic tone. That is a cool looking guitar, Reminds me of some of the older Hamer guitars with the body shape. I imagine it sounds pretty good on the Electric side of things with the Duncan 59's and the Long 25.5" scale.

Canada .... brrr
I think these were Ovations last development in the electric guitar field, which was a failure mainly due to poor marketing. I have only heard good things about them, and they tend to sell used well above $1000 - so this one may be a steal.

Given they were in the same building in New Hartford with Ovation, and Guild, I am quite sure some collaboration occurred.

This guitar is posted on Reverb and eBay. I think there are some on GC used page as well, but no pictures.

I went to my local Guitar Center today amidst the ever looming gloom of Tropical Storm Bill, LOL. They have one of these in the used section for $699 in excellent shape with the same Sunburst finish. If anybody wants the info on it the Store is Guitar Center Clear Lake, Texas (281)557-0505.
