Hey Dane,
Don't know if you are still looking for a distortion pedal, but I saw this Keeley modded one on the bay. It's way too "heavy" for me, my Keeley modded TS9 and BD-2 are my bread and butter, but it might just be up your alley. Dunno why, I thought of you when I saw it.

Looks like it's probably better than the average Metal Zone, but a Zone nonetheless. Thanks for the heads up. I think I may just make a Screaming Bird (treble boost) out of an Electro Harmonix LPB-1.
