That Catalina Blue color is beautiful... I think it must be the rarest color for the X-160, though.

My brother has a blue X160. I am not sure of the year. I do not think he plays it much anymore. He's more into starfires these days. But I'll see if he has any interest in selling and get back to you.

I hope you find one. One of the best guitars ever made.

Please do. I have no intention of low-balling and will gladly pay book value.

True, First post after over a years membership. Welcome to posting O'longtime lurker.
Thanks guys! Joined while I was questing for a '90s Brian May, which is now one of my favorite guitars.

Welcome!

Personally, I think that "orange" color is hot!

I think that Guild should do a GSR version of the X-160 Rockabilly or something similar with DeArmond-style pickups (maybe use the Duncan Dynasonics, as they are very close to the original pickup design). Or maybe a GSR Starfire III with Dynasonics?

Sniff, sniff. I smell some potential enabling in the air. And welcome Mr. Burnside.

I have that exact guitar (plus another nice Guild SF4). I was going to post a picture, but the forum doesn't seem to allow me to do this (won't paste the picture and the link doesn't work). Am I doing something wrong or do I need the admin to do something? dave

Got it!

Here is my x-160 alongside my 79 SF-4. Not for sale though, but I thought I'd post the picture. The SF is in quite good shape considering it's over 30 years old. The rockabilly is near mint - not a scratch or any sign of wear on it. Guild records on line don't cover this model. Can anyone provide some insight on what year this guitar would be? I suspect it is from 2000-01. Serial number is CB000295.

Thanks for helping figure out how to post pictures.
