O.K. Guild fans I am stumped on this one here...Pot dates 82 and 1983... no id numbers other than serial number and made in USA...Kahler tremelo ( non locking) that's all I can tell ya

maple capped maple neck, hottttt pups and killer player.
That sticker on the neck is a authentication sticker (it is signed on back of headstock)

Yes, I knew someone here would set me straight..1983 ,killer little guitar 25 and 1/2 inch scale reminds me off the EVH guitars that came out in the late 90's. Thanks guys.

Hello Grot,

Guild had so many different cases that it's hard to have seen them all. This is the style case that came in between the cheapo soft case and the rectangular hard cases.

Actually, the case that is pictured with the guitar is not exactly from the right period. This could happen when a guitar didn't leave the factory right away and therefore did get a later style case when it was finally shipped.

Here's a photo that shows the case with the correct logo in the front and an even earlier case in the back:
