Hey gang:

Dialing in my new to me S-90, which has a slightly modded original bridge ... the mods being two little grooved steel blocks replacing the string rollers on the low E, A strings. Here's the pic:

That mod eliminated the low E popping out of the saddle, had the unfortunate side effect of changing the string radius, lowering the two bass strings. I've been pondering swapping out the bridge altogether (have long been curious about how these solidbodies would do with a tunomatic ...) but am reluctant to go there. So in the meantime, does anyone have two rollers from an original bridge you could spare?

If not, is there any bridge made that would drop into these wideset holes, no redrilling??

Thanks
MD

Tony R. to the rescue. He volunteered a couple of the non-guild, but functionally equivalent, roller saddles he had sourced recently after encountering a similar problem. This makes S-90 parts miracle number two for me. The first was Dane most kindly crafting a back cover plate for my first S-90. And now this equally helpful gesture from Tony.

This is one fine collection of folks. Dane, Tony, you guys are the best! Thanks so much for your help. I love hanging here!
