I have a 74 F40 and the action is a bit high. I have adjusted the truss rod as far as it seems reasonable, i.e., the resistance seems to be very high and I dont want to over turn it. The neck looks straight but the action is still high up around the 12th fret. I am assuming at this point all I could do is lower the bridge saddle. Is this difficualt? Any tips, other than take it to a pro Or is the action on this model intended to be this way given it's a blue grass guitar.
