A super, terrific product:

available at:

I give it an A+++. If I leave it off one of the guitars then I notice immediately and have to stop and put it back on.

To show how easy it is, here is the armrest installed on my Lowden six-string:

then on the Guild twelve-string:

dadglasser,
I look at this contraption, shake my head, and think " This is another solution in search of a problem."
And after all the kvetching and moaning about how tuners left on headstocks leave marks in the finish, won't the hard edges of this thing also leave marks?
No doubt some people will thank you for the heads-up, but I won't be putting one on my guitars.

The contact surfaces are lined with a soft, cork-looking material:

I've not had any issue with scratches nor any other marks on either guitar and have used the able for about 3.5 years.

Looks comfy on the top side, not so much w/ that capped nut on the back. (Would be a rib poker for me) I don't strap any guitars high enough for my arm to ever need added cushioning, but I can see it being comfortable for the folks that play a "guitar necklace". ;) (y)

Can you take a picture from the back? I, too, am seeing this as a rib-jabber, but maybe not??

Thanks, dadglasser. Always good to see new products, especially when they're removable. :)
