(Led Zeppelin frontman Robert Plant) sat down with reporter Tara Brown on the Australian version of 60 Minutes recently to discuss everything from Led Zeppelin’s roots, formation and history, right up to their December 2007 reunion concert in London and its 2012 CD/DVD release as Celebration Day.

Of course, the pair couldn't help mentioning the possibility of more Led Zeppelin shows down the line. At that point, the following exchange took place:

PLANT: "You know, the two other guys are both Capricorns and they keep schtum [quiet]; they don't say a word. But they are quite contained in their own worlds and they just leave it to me to do this [interviews]."

BROWN: "…to be the bad guy"

PLANT: "I'm not the bad guy."

BROWN: "Well you are for all those Led Zeppelin fans who'd love you to say, 'Yes, we're reforming'."

PLANT: "Well, then you need to speak to the Capricorns ... 'cause I've got nothing to do in 2014."

Gentlemen, start your rumor mills!

I guess it's good publicity, but (for my tastes at least) I think the stuff that Robert Plant is doing these days is a lot more interesting than a Led Zep reunion. More Buddy Miller!

:D I saw that on Sunday night. He sure seemed keen when he said it, and looked like wanted it to happen, so who knows.
I never really got into Zeppelin, even in the day....but their music was everywhere. It's only now that I am starting to take it in. I loved "Raising Sand", The album he did with Allison Kraus, That was a great idea, well done in every way.

Even though I heard a lot about it, I had my doubts even about their 2007 reunion show in London. But then when I heard the CD Celebration Day from that show, and in particular Kashmir, I thought "hell yeah, bring on a reunion!"

If a reunion comes to fruition, I should be able to afford tickets if I start saving (and camping out in line) now!

It took me until later in life to get into Zep, and I was never really to keen on them in my high school days when they were wildly popular. They've grown on me some, though I think I like Robert Plat's side projects even better; Might Rearranger, Raising Sand, and particularly Band of Joy. Buddy Miller is the man!

I have the DVD of Celebration Day, and it is great, no doubt. Hopefully the Zep reunion's tickets (assuming it even happens) won't be $750 for the top seats like the latest Stones tour.

Agreed!

According to sources that I trust both Bud and Miller suck big time!

But Buddy Miller .......... that's the good stuff!

I love love love Led Zeppelin. So when I read all this talk about the Celebration Day discs, I went on Amazon and bought it. While I was there, I bought another DVD I'd been meaning to pick up. They both arrived this morning.

It is not lost on me that both concerts were filmed at the O2 in London. Happy little bit of ... serendipity?

Yeah but if you combine your AARP discount with the Depends and Viagra coupons it's a much more reasonable $700.00.
