Take a look at my little profile pic over to the left near "Tuberous". It's a picture of a Guild CA-100 Capri that I bought in the mid-70s and then sold to a friend in CA in the mid-80s. This weekend, I was browsing Reverb after purchasing another Starfire II (It's a Sickness), and I saw a similar CA-100 with a pickup on it.

The seller posted the serial number; I looked through my old files and found it to be my old guitar! I can't believe it. It's been almost 40 years! After much thought, I'm going to let it go; I'm not crazy about the refinish job or the pickup installation. It just doesn't look like "my guitar" anymore. But it brought back a bunch of nice memories. I wave it "hello!" wished it a great journey.

So... after more thinking, and urging from friends and family, I realized that it was a unique opportunity. So I made an offer and it was accepted. It'll come back after all. 'Kind of excited, actually. Thanks everyone, for your comments and encouragement. I'll report back with a photo or two once it arrives.

Will you be recreating your photo from above? That would be pretty neat!
