I drove through your neck of the woods years ago on one of my cross-country journeys! One word of advice for you is to make sure you have a well-humidified room/home to keep this beauty (because... winter. :) ) . And, make sure you take a pic of the COA when you do a spread for us. Best wishes!

They introduced these quite late in the year last year, Ray, and so I remain curious if they built all of them in 2023 and stopped or if they missed the 70th anniversary goal and/or how many they actually made. So I'd love to see Pidge's COA for the details. It is interesting whether or not their Adirondack stash in Oxnard is visually "cleaner" than that original model -- without the streaks you're talking about.

So #15 was on 7/11 already. (#1 and #2 were done on 7/6, #28 was 7/18)

Beautiful! That is one super clean looking guitar. Love the headstock and neck inlays! I see they spec actual “Adirondack” and “Pearl” instead of red spruce and pearloid. That’s cool.

By the way, the Guild Master Luthier who was overseeing this entire 70th Anniversary built is Chuck Sanzone. Don't think that was ever mentioned before at LTG.

See the following thread for the follow on discussion about Chuck and the latest, cool GSRs

Oh ya, that is gorgeous, I feel $6k isn’t even all that bad for what looks to be a consistently sweet build 😀

Although odd way to present the #X of 70 on the COA, shouldn’t that be more prominent?

Agreed, could have been on the second page. But at least they have the runnning limited number and the serial number on the COA and not like the New Hartford Custom Shop certificates where they completely forgot a field for the serial number making them universal and not as intended to proof authenticity of a guitar. Somebody was sleeping big time in NH (or Scottsdale or wherever it was designed) during that time in 2012 when the COAs were designed. Hard to believe that Ren signed them all without a serial number given.

Actually I have to add that NH also had a version with "Serial #" instead of "Date"! Well, they could have put both lines on it and they used both versions mixed up. Whatever the reason was. Made absolutely no sense to use one or the other version.

It's hard to see but this above version it really showed "Serial #" vs. "Date" on the other version.

And Fender had reserved the nicer looking COAs for their own New Hartford made guitars, showing both date and serial number!
They were not hand signed by Ren Ferguson but Tim Shaw.

That's a nice looking Guitar Pidge! Congrats! I got lucky enough to find one of the 2 or 3 New Hartford made Adi topped D55's brand new years ago. Love the tone from it. Hope you enjoy yours for a long time.
