out of interest, which, if any, Guild hollow body electrics have a 25.5" scale?

I know some of the acoustics did.

The X350 (burst) and X375 (blond) had the longer scale. D-40/40C had it. A number of 80's solid bodies also.

'96 catalog shows X700 and Artist Award with 25-5/8" but by Guild Gallery #1 (winter 97-98), only AA has 25-5/8", all the SF reissues and the X170 have 24-3/4.

oh, that's interesting. i thought the T-500 might do.

quite tempted but luckily i don't have the money. And i'd have to remove the gold hardware.

Or just play the guitar until the gold wears off. Doesn't the GSR T-400 have a 25.5" scale, too?

That is a Beautiful One Off X500! I have often thought about getting a GSR T-500 like the one above due to it having a 25.5" scale. Most all of the 90's and early 2000's Starfires and X series guitars come in at 24 3/4". I don't mind it but I prefer the longer 25.5" scale like my Fender Strats. I can verify that my 1984 Guild S284 Aviator is 25.5" scale set neck and I love it!

Same here. Love the 25.5" on a X-500!

The T-400 and T-500 seem to be pretty much the same guitar with different pickups and hardware color. Maybe a little fancier flamed maple on the T-500.

+ the T-500 has an ebony fretbord opposite to the rosewood fretboard on th T-400. and I don't believe the more fancy flames are true.

Correct, the fretboard wood is different. The flames, well, I guess they're different on every guitar anyway.
