Heavily modified vintage Starfire bass with Bisonics apparently sold for $200 at an estate auction last week. Hard to look at, but even with nothing but the photos to go by, $200 was a steal no matter what.

The Rickenbacker treatment is... interesting.
You know, that didn't even occur to me! I just thought it was a sloppy Phil Lesh bass attempt, but I totally see the Ricky now!
