Agreed 100%

Autotune has taken the humanity out of vocal performances. I find myself listening to more live performances than studio versions of music. Both for the vocal and instrumental performance of a song. I can still very much enjoy studio recordings from the 70's and 80's and prior. But today they autotune everything, but why??? The thing that makes listening to music wonderful is it's imperfection. It's humanity!

Damn that's a good tune. Needs to be on a trucker compilation CD. This guy is a big favorite of mine having driven to his 8 tracks, but he didn't have Bill Kirchen.

A song about fidelity, it's hard on a guy out on the road.

A cover, dang I love that bass player's outfit ;[]

Seen him during this tour, easily the best band I've ever seen live, unless it was Jazz.

Still thankful to the gal who insisted on dragging me "to see a country band".

Can't have a thread w/ trucker songs and not include the song that basically started one of my alltime favorite bands, Little Feat.

When Lowell George was in Frank Zappa's band, after the album Weasels Ripped My Flesh, Lowell presented the song Willin to Frank for possible inclusion on the next album. Frank took one good listen, said the song is too good...you need your own band, and basically pushed Lowell to do his own thing. Frank's bassist Ray Estrada left with Lowell, and Little Feat was born. 👍🏻😎

Singing like this guy can you don't really need to play the guitar, but can he.

2nd song he cops a Clapton lick, and then proceeds to play the guitar in was Clapton didn't even think were possible.
