Well heck ! I’m gunna say it again , hope it’s the last time I’m sure you all are getting sick of it ! Lmao

I really don’t what to say this dang guitar has me enthralled , why ? It’s the cheapest guitar I have yet it just drives me nuts !

The sustain ! The overtones ! The tone in general ! Dang thing just rings ! Ok so yeah I’m smoke’n the crack pipe again but you all really need to hear these things and I know some have .

I just truly do not know why this thing is driven me nuts . My first om120 sounded good this one is better but I got it because the first one sounded so good . 😊

Ok so everyone’s ears are different, got it ! But why do I keep coming back to this thing . lol 😂 no it’s not perfect ! But man I’m telling ya all if it was ! Holy cow what a guitar it would be !

So I’m still procrastinating on my tune “Alone” which I’m dedicating to my pops who recently passed and Mom who passed exactly one Jewish year earlier. Pops said he’d make it one more year after Mom but did not specify the year type so you can imagine our surprise when the Rabbi mentioned it was exactly one Jewish year .

Anywho , I’ll get it recorded I’m just being overly anal about its precision which I totally suck at so everyone ! Let’s say together ! Take 4,672 ! Lmao 🤣

I hope I can effectively convey this guitars gifts . Ok sorry for the blah blah blah 😑
Hi Rayk. I can totally relate. I have had a modest Guild GAD M20 for a month now and haven't been able to put it down. I used to hate waking up at night to go to the bathroom, now I appreciate the opportunity it gives me to look at the guitar on my way...

I took the Orpheum out today to swap out the factory Guild Gotoh tuners that were stiff and gritty feeling. I put in replacement Gotoh tuners that were a direct drop in and they work great! While I had it out I pulled out the 1959 M30 and did a side by side comparison today. The Orpheum is brighter and rings more but the M30 is just so warm and smooth!

It was the F512E in church today. Absolutely my favorite guitar. We have transmitters which clip on the strap, so before the service began I wandered around the auditorium flat picking chord progressions and hearing myself from all sides. I played Today While the Blossoms, This Old Guitar, and since it was St. Patrick's Day, I played Danny Boy, but I don't think anybody recognized it.
We had a new drummer today, and he kept stepping up the tempo, so I had to strum really loud to hold him back.

Played my Martin D-28 in the morning and my Gibson j-45 in the evening while I practiced the jazzier chart of "Till there was you" that my music teacher gave me to work on.
Why those two guitars? Just because.
And it's anyone's guess which acoustic I'll grab tomorrow.

I alternate between my two acoustics: an Oxnard Guild D-55 and a Taylor 710. Lately I've been mostly playing the Guild.

Playing a vintage Gibson Dove. It was my wife's fathers, who bought it new around 1970 or 71. Wish he had kept the sales receipt in the case. He passed away 23 years ago, at which point my wife inherited it. Someone posted a few months back asking which guitars you would not sell for $5,000. I doubt my wife would sell for 100k...DaveIMG_0341.jpg

Playing the Chris Bozung CB 45 and same guitar I posted here last year except for one change. Chris asked me if I had rather have my name "Rye" on it than the name "Stringer" the fellow he made it for. So he cut out, "Rye" with a coping saw and this is the results.

Is that a Thalia TRC or what came on it originally?
