I’ll send pics when I get a chance. I live Sault Ste. Marie, ON Canada@Pidge GG is so right. Please all the details when you have a moment. Where'd you buy? Where are you? Etc..... We're all living vicariously through you!
I drove through your neck of the woods years ago on one of my cross-country journeys! One word of advice for you is to make sure you have a well-humidified room/home to keep this beauty (because... winter. ) . And, make sure you take a pic of the COA when you do a spread for us. Best wishes!Sault Ste. Marie, ON Canada
They introduced these quite late in the year last year, Ray, and so I remain curious if they built all of them in 2023 and stopped or if they missed the 70th anniversary goal and/or how many they actually made. So I'd love to see Pidge's COA for the details. It is interesting whether or not their Adirondack stash in Oxnard is visually "cleaner" than that original model -- without the streaks you're talking about.Well shoot how’d I miss this info ? lol
If I had 6 G’s or whatever it went for I’d jump on it of course the top would have cleaner then the original post pics but man oh man Madagascar Rosewood ! Drool ! I guess the bling is ok . lol
So #15 was on 7/11 already. (#1 and #2 were done on 7/6, #28 was 7/18)I remain curious if they built all of them in 2023 and stopped or if they missed the 70th anniversary goal and/or how many they actually made. So I'd love to see Pidge's COA for the details.

Congrats on getting #15, @Pidge !!! She's a beaut!!!!!! Enjoy, enjoy, enjoy, and thanks for pics!!!!!Here are pics of my #15 of 70
No worries, you did great! That Madagascar Rosewood is spectacular! Thanks for sharing.I apologize but I’m not a photographer
Would need to search more for numbers >28 and the date. #28 was just what I found by chance. Not all shops post the number of the guitar unfortunatelly.Yup. Looks like they made them legitimately in 2023.
This might be worth going into debt for ! lolThey introduced these quite late in the year last year, Ray, and so I remain curious if they built all of them in 2023 and stopped or if they missed the 70th anniversary goal and/or how many they actually made. Very nice! Welcome to the Guild GSR club, my friend! Here are pics of my #15 of 70
Agreed, could have been on the second page. But at least they have the runnning limited number and the serial number on the COA and not like the New Hartford Custom Shop certificates where they completely forgot a field for the serial number making them universal and not as intended to proof authenticity of a guitar. Somebody was sleeping big time in NH (or Scottsdale or wherever it was designed) during that time in 2012 when the COAs were designed. Hard to believe that Ren signed them all without a serial number given.Although odd way to present the #X of 70 on the COA, shouldn’t that be more prominent?
Actually I have to add that NH also had a version with "Serial #" instead of "Date"! Well, they could have put both lines on it and they used both versions mixed up. Whatever the reason was. Made absolutely no sense to use one or the other version.not like the New Hartford Custom Shop certificates where they completely forgot a field for the serial number making them universal and not as intended to proof authenticity of a guitar.
