Just saw this. Looks like some more Starfire models might be coming too.
Am I correct to think the Newark Street guitars, including this new Starfire VI model, are still made in Korea?
According to the spec sheet it's semi-hollow.I wonder if its semi hollow like the standard vi, or full hollow. Either way, very cool
OK, so anyone confused about the colors available out there? I guess that's a good problem to have. All I know is I probably won't be around in 40 years to debate what the color looked like when the guitar was new. Fjords, emeralds, and the King's woods... all good to me!The Starfire III Dynasonic (Sorry, Walter - Guild's name) also comes in a new color called Dark Emerald, not to be confused with Guild's other new green called Fjord Green

Yes, both the new Starfire III Dynasonic and the Starfire VI Special are still made at SPG in Korea.Given recent history with the S100 I fear not but we'll see when a label and/or serial number becomes visible. At that price I'd hope so.
Thanks Ralf!Yes, both the new Starfire III Dynasonic and the Starfire VI Special are still made at SPG in Korea.

However as usual the new Starfire I DC California Burst is made at P.T. Samick in Indonesia.

Because they do not suck. It's weird how it's good news that Korea is still making Guilds.
