I wouldn't touch that finish at all, but if it needs frets, go ahead and have that done, as frets wear out, and and as someone else said, it's an expected repair. Stripping it and doing a refin will devalue it by about 50% generally. The green looks totally cool, BTW.

I don't know if those are the original pickups. They don't match my X79-3, but that doesn't necessarily mean much.

It's refinished, has possibly replaced pickups, someone painted the pick guard and truss rod cover, and they covered up the Guild Logo (but left the serial number intact). I don't know what a "phase split" is and "they made less than 2000 of them so they're rare" doesn't make a lot of sense to me, but it can be all yours for the low low price of what you'd pay for one in mint condition.
