Dr Webster Pilcher did a similar procedure a few years ago in upper New York State. His patient played the saxophone in the OR.

I remember seeing a brain operation in TV sometimes in 60-70s - there was this person, whos right arm was out of control and moved quickly and hazardously swinging aroun. They had pinpointed the exact location of the problem by tomography. He laid on table on his back. His head was secured so he could not move it. Then they cut an opening in his skalp and drilled a small - maybe 1/4 inch - hole in his skull. And he was consious all the time. Then they inserted a long needle and managed to aim it exactly to right point, where they injected a tiny drop of frozen nitrogen or hydrogen or . . . Immediately after this they gave him a cup of water and asked him to drink it - using his right hand - BINGO - problems were all gone.

Amazing - as one orange-haired person keeps repeating . . .

I'm glad I have a F-30, there's probably no room for a full size dreadnought or a 12-string in that operating room...

Just in case, I am going to start practicing this song:
