I mean this as a compliment:

That intro sounds like you played it on a piano!

Did they make these in Rosewood ?
Yes Ray, they did. See the spec page: https://guildguitars.com/g/slotted-headstock-6-string-rs/
Never mind that they had a Sunburst mahogany version shown on the rosewood page! Typical Guild...

Here is one example:
https://reverb.com/item/129728-guild-orpheum-slotted-headstock-rosewood-orchestra-2014-natural

Also both woods existed with a sunburst top. So a total of 4 versions.

But since I have both a Rosewood and a Mahogany, but both in 12 string, I can say the mahogany is much better suited for that size of guitar! The Rosewood has way too much overtones for my taste (due to the Adi top), the mahogany tames the beast! I am a big fan of rosewood on like the F-30 size body, but somehow not on that size of the Orpheum.

I believe there were less than 10 of your specific model (Hog, Natural top) made. I know of serial numbers NR059003, NR113002, NR113003 and NR121003.

Some might say the Orpheums are custom builds but I'd need more backround on them and the build process.
10 minutes to watch (it does not show the slotted headstocks as the video was from 2013)

Thanks for the info .
Yeah overtones ! That has my name all over it ! Lol
Adirondack and Rosewood make up most of my collection . 😁

My serial is NR098005.

This just popped into my head but remember back about year or two maybe 3 lol that I spoke highly of a F30 hog that I had to return that was a NH as well but it's tone reminds me of this Orph . It was very clear with bell like overtones . I just couldn't find another one like it . :(

Oooh is that a Koa orchestra GSR In there ? Lol might have to add that to the list . Lol

The Ren qoute how many instruments do you need? " Just one more " lol most excellent. 😊

OMG! That poor Rosewood Orph ,you look at how its stringed up ? Sacrilege ! 😡
