I had a Monday off this week and was poking around the web and found this, just posted: (I don't think it even made it to the LTG ebay/... offerings page).

Even though it had just posted, I threw in what I thought to be a reasonable offer, and a few minutes later... Boom. I've have another guitar!

Shipping was quick; the packing/box was a mess, but it all came out OK. A bit of cleanup and new strings last night, and what seemed like a few minutes of check out/play time (from 6:30pm to 12:30am -- did I really sit there that long??) Nice.

This is a fairly clean '87 model. Nice neck, great action of out the box, and a nice thin nut (like I like them). I am very pleased.

Here it is with this summer's acquisition (the early '95 X-160):

X-170’s are wonderful guitars; a really elegant, versatile design. You got yourself a beautiful example! Hope you enjoy it in good health. Congratulations!
