Here's a test pic, an infrared (via 720 nanometer IR-pass filter) I took last November on Big Island:

And since that worked, here's one I took at my favorite local park on Christmas Day:

Pretty sure I've eaten at that restaurant with the railing balcony!

There's a terrific Indian restaurant, Kamana Kitchen, about 1/3 mile in the other direction from where I was facing when I took the photo. Used to be a really good coffee shop/restaurant too, Daylight Mind, in the same collection of buildings as Kamana but it changed owners (and name) last September and is a different, more generic thing now.

The display is in fact 800px wide, but that's configurable. Note that the pic you see is technically a thumbnail and if you click on it you'll get the original! If you post multiple pics you'll actually get a sort of gallery where you can cycle through them.

Here's an example to check out. All my pics are 1600px on the longest side. Click on any of them and you should see a prev/next button to cycle through them. Click on any pic in the viewer and you'll get just the pic at full size.

Note also that there are different ways to accomplish the same thing that may appear differently depending on how you upload.

I was curious because I don't want to upload a larger size than needed. I assume that if you delete the pic from your post, it also deletes it on the server?

Curious users can go to Settings and then scroll down to My Settings on the left and find Attachments under Miscellaneous. Clicking on that will tell you how many attachments you have uploaded and how much space they use. You also have links to the threads with the attachment and you can toggle whether the display includes thumbnails or not.

That's a great feature! After reading the text, I enjoy cycling thru the attached photos w/o having to toggle back and forth.

Also, it looks like Sully has calmed down a little bit. :dog:
