Mrs. Dread has departed for Mexico with her sisters for their annual vacation together, so I'm holding down the fort for 3 weeks. Whatever shall I do? Besides the 2 jam sessions I already have scheduled, I mean. And taking care of 4 dogs & 1 cat.

I did get a Tascam recording unit for Christmas, so I'll be messing around with that too. If I can figure it out, maybe I'll even post a song or two.

Still got my 4-track cassette Portastudio from the early '90s! (These days I use an iOS app called Auria…way over-spec'd for my needs.) Recording yourself is loads of fun IMO.

I will be recording some stuff with my old D25M, my Fishman Loudbox Mini, and my TC Helicon Vocal Harmonizer...also bought a nice Shure SM-58 mic from my buddy Scott's estate. This whole rig sounds pretty good if I do say so myself.
