Although we have a Nick Drake veer going in another thread, I thought I would post this separately. I think I posted it several years ago, but couldn't find it. Anyway, here's a list of Drakes' songs and their tuning, and tabs for each song.

Quite an impressive effort:

And while we are considering alternate tunings, it seems appropriate to include a list of Joni Mitchell's songs, from the same site:

Joni has a billion tunings. I think I read she recorded about 3 songs in standard and the rest are chords and whatever moved Joni.

While you must admit that Joni has a whole TON of different tunings, please also understand that some of them are just the same tuning altered up or down a whole step, a half step, etc., etc. Also, i bought the Kindle version of Joni Mitchell Complete So Far. It's the most complete listing of songs and tunings I've found. :encouragement:

Joni had polio as a kid and her tunings are a result of limited hand use to some extent. There was an interesting comment from some of the Jazz greats that worked with her about how they had to learn things totally "out of the box" to work on her music!
