And just this morning on KTVU News, San Francisco mayor London Breed commenting on the closure of a beloved local high school referred to it as the "infamous Mercy High School".
An all-girl Catholic High School.
Not exactly a hotbed of gangbanging youths and the corresponding headlines even in this day and age
OK, if our elected civic leaders are misusing the language, how are we supposed to have confidence they actually understand what they read or write or say correctly?
