The question: is a 60s T-50 all laminate, or is there any solid wood? Reason for question: do I need to humidify it in the winter?

Thanks!

Laminated. It was one of the cheapest ways out the door with the Guild badge. I would think that the maple lamination don't need to be hydrated like spruce, but it couldn't hurt. It might prevent some lacquer checking in the long run.

Hello Jaycat,

Your '60s T-50 has a laminated body, but you should still humidify it, because the rosewood fingerboard could dry out and shrink to the point where the frets will stick out at both edges of the fingerboard. You won't like that!

Sincerely,
