Does anyone have experience with both the new Cordoba HB-1 and the Fender-made (not the Duncans, the ones Fender made in-house) as used on the late Westerly guitars? My SFIV was new in late 2001 and I wonder if the newer PUPs will fit, and how they compare sonically.

Thank!

The new HB1s are the same size as the vintage HB1s and so won’t fit in the Fender HB1 route. Guild now has HB2 pickups that will fit in the route, but I don’t think anyone here has tried them yet.

I also have not seem the new Guild HB-2 sold individually yet. The Guild store does not list them yet.
