    Ignoring the fact that Hendrix was inconsistent in whether it was Chile or Child, Voodoo Chile was a jam that included Steve Winwood and Jack Cassady. Some sources claim there were three takes. The third was released on Electric Ladyland and the first two were edited and released as a single take posthumously. The name similarity comes because Voodoo Child (Slight Return) was recorded the next day and the previous night's jam cited as an influence.

    I had a sense of deja vu. Luna also recorded the song about 6 years ago.
