Notice that at 1:10 the mounted tom comes loose and swings around about 20 degrees in the mount. The drummer doesn't hit it any more during the rest of the song. Things like that were dreadful back in the day, especially in front of a crowd of people when you least expect it.

OF course now you need at least 2 other guys and a choreographer, too.
