Here is the F65CE I just acquired. Appears to be in excellent condition, except for some minor cosmetic issues. The only bummer is that when I unscrewed the TRC to flip it, a piece came off, so I need to replace it.

It plays easily, and sounds pretty good, although it is not in the same league as my other 6 strings.

I will have the electronics tested when I bring it in for an evaluation and setup.

The serial # is AF 650795, so is it safe to assume it is a 2000?

I have played a few of these guitars.
It's my opinion that they are made to be played plugged in.
That is the way that they sound the best to me.

She is a beaut! Congrats! She is the cousin to my '97 D30 SB. I have never played one.

Super good looking guitar and looks to be great condition. The guy I bought my '67 F-30 from, has a '99 just like yours and I've been thinking about it ever since.

Very Nice Awagner! Love that burst. I had that same finish on a Starfire II and a X150. Just gorgeous flame peeking through the finish. Enjoy It!

That brought me up short until I looked at your other 6 strings.... :biggrin-new:
Oh yes, be sure it's strung with .010's or maybe .011's at worst, I think the tops are choked off otherwise. They shipped with .010-.047.

Mine's in the 850's and the second highest s/n Fender had a record of, so it could conceivably even be as late as an '01.
Congrats!

Congrats!

i plan on stringing them with .10s. The ones that are on it now feel like .12s

Hans actually advised me that mine is from 1999.
