My Guild no. 2! The awesome S100 Deluxe nature boy! Thanks to Roger (rod6242) for the beautiful guitar and also to Thunderface for some enabling. Unfortunately I didn't have the time to do a proper photo shoot but I took a few quick ones just to get this thread done ;D

Here I thought my '73 nature boy DeLuxe looked good, but that one is stunning, with the clear pickguard showing off even more of that mahogany goodness.

BTW, I think I found out where most guitar shapes come from... Coincidence? I don't think so!

Ok  It's your luck I turned sick and couldn't go to work today
We happen to have a transcript from that call into work:
Q: Oh, sorry to hear that. Do you have a cold?
A: No, I caught the NGD flu (cough, cough).

Q: The NGD flu? Sounds bad. Is it contagious?
A: Yes. I caught it from some friends of mine in America. (cough, sneeze)

Q: Really?
A: Yeah. It seems to be quite common among the people I've started to hang around with. (cough, cough, once more for emphasis)

Q: Well I hope you feel better soon.
A: Thank you. I'm sure I will.

The funny part is, you get sick and we now feel better. :D

Life is funny :D I'm going to stay at home tomorrow too and try to figure out a proper setting for the new strings. Rod had quite slinky ones installed and they sounded great but were too thin for my fingers. Now I get some buzzing from the lower E and the G string :? Maybe I'll take it to a professional.

I do recognize the HB1 sound when playing the S100 but the feel and tone is different compared to the S300. It's somewhat warmer and rounder. The S300 has more bite and the ebony fretboard makes it very fast and light to play. I love 'em both! 8)
