That was my laugh of the day. Thanks.

Maybe you should pick up a JS bass and they could fly escort duty...

Oh, man! Any chance of of the navigation system going awry in one of these & it flies down to Australia? :D

There's always a chance. My '77 M-80 flew south to Australia a few weeks ago, right into the waiting hands of Hagmeat.

You could say that Deluxe has New Mexico covered. :)
Indeed it does. Considering that the Carved is flying over Canada, it's almost too bad that it doesn't have maple leaves on it instead of oak leaves. It's the right color, though.

Oh, I know - he was at my place on the weekend with his S-90 - that's why I want something similar now! Hoping to get my hands on that old M-80 of yours next time he comes around.

The other thing about those S-100 Thunderfaces, they're a respectful bunch. See how they pay homage to their predecessor, the '64 Polara S-100.

While I'd like to laugh, I just find the collection to be more awesome than amusing. But I do like the "pose" (and the "posse" for that matter).

I'm always looking for creative ways to shoot the same guitars. For the "homage" pose, it worked because the Polara has the built-in stand. A lot of times, the setup takes longer than the actual shot, but the results can be interesting, or effective, depending on how you look at it. I really had to work to get this shot, but i think it turned out pretty well ...

... the saddest part is that, as my affection for S-100s grew, these all got thinned out of the herd.
