I can attest to the addiction. I've kept it at bay for a couple of years now. Looking at that sweet machine reminds me of my oops baby (my '76). Nice work, BP.

Ooh Pascal !That's nice. I really do need one of those.
You know Gary, the first time I saw one of these, I kinda thought it was corny or something... didn't really get hooked right away. But then after it's been flashed around so many times by the "cool kids" (thanks guys   ) it became more and more interesting and desirable. Then I got my 73 Nature Boy, and after fully realizing what the S-100 phenomenon was all about, the carved became absolutely irresistible.
Reminds me of a George line in Seinfeld: "She despises me so much, it's almost irresistible".

Thanks Q!
And in your infinite knowledge, do you have an idea how many of these were actually made between 74 and 77?... Or will it take Hans' Vol.II to get the answer?

It'll take Hans, with or without Vol. II.

Seems like I've seen more carved NB's from '74 than any other year. But there's a lot of them out there total.

BP SCORES!! I'm as green as Hammer's '94 first reissue with envy. Excellent score mon ami!

Now you've got a '73 standard, a '74 carved and you just need a '72 or '75 Deluxe for the chronological mythical "Thunderslam."
