In the late summer or early fall of 1975 Guild produced at least 6 S100's with natural finish and India Ink artwork under the lacquer. After filling and sealing the Mahogany they were sent to an artist in the Mystic/Groton area to do a pen and ink mural and then sent back for the lacquer finishes. I don't recall what the subject of the art was but I thought it was pretty cool at the time - better than the acorn carvings. Do any of you own one or seen one, or even heard of them?

Any possibility the guitars were S-50's? Hans posted a beauty with a colorful carving or painting a while back I think it was a S50?

They were S100s, I don't know where they were sent but I do not believe they were a special order.

Thanks Hans. After I posted that comment I started to think maybe it wasn't a S50 but a S90. That sure was a nice guitar.
