S-100 Neck Reset

What do I need to know about resetting the neck on my vintage S-100? The neck has slightly separated from the body. I hear that Guild electric guitars have a tricky neck joint. Comments?

I had the neck reset on my '73 JS II bass. Seemed like it was a pretty ordinary mortise/tenon glue-in joint. What you'd expect to find on a solid body guitar with a glue in neck:

Mortise (\'mort-?s\) n: a hole cut in a piece of wood into which another piece fits to form a joint.

Tenon (\'ten-?n\) n: the shaped end of one piece of wood that fits into the hole in another piece and thus joins the two pieces together.

I would think the S-100 would be just the same, but I'd sure like to know if it's different!
