Pink Moon I liked as there is no string section crushing the guitar playing like on his earlier record. Great guitar tone throughout on Pink, and maybe a piano track on the title track is the only other instrument on that album. I know that song is old and tired due to commercial, but there are some gems on that album. Things behind the sun is brilliant. Another song, Road, a crowning achievement in acoustic guitar progression. For me, his greatest creation. My guess is he wanted to do more with Road, but wasn’t sure how to elaborate or where to go. But it’s pure genius in it’s almost “hesitant, innocent state.

Is that his guitar?

To be fair,I know Drake played a dread at times and I recall it being a D-28. He also had a classical. But most tunes recorded were steel string. But does anyone really know?

I did read that he liked old strings. Like dead strings. Phosphor bronze would not have been available at time of death, so he was playing dead 90/20s or nickel.

OK - nice guitar playing - but I could only understand few words here and there - that may be one thing I disliked back then. There was no interenet to search words. And after Dylan - Donovan - Simon & Garfunkel and countless other storytellers who wrapped their words in music - I might be slightly picky about whether or not the lyrics are clearly delivered . . .

Gimme another - please.
